Dr Kaitlin Newman (Osteopath)
B.Sc.(Clin. Sc.), M.H.Sc.(Osteo)
Kaitlin Newman is a Victoria University trained Osteopath who has established herself in the south-western suburbs of Brisbane. As a health care provider she focuses on restoring functional movement in order to reduce pain and disability caused by injury. She aims to achieve this with a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, kinesiotaping and patient education.
Kaitlin enjoys treating and helping to manage conditions associated with geriatric care such as osteoarthritis, postural complaints, knee or hip replacements. There is a common misconception that comes with ageing that people can sometimes neglect their health because they think there is little that can be done to help. Kaitlin aims to bridge this gap by providing quality care and advice on neuro-musculoskeletal health to people of all age groups.
Whether it be participating herself or working as a sports trainer Kaitlin has had a strong involvement in sports such as swimming, martial arts, netball, volleyball, AFL and soccer. This has spiked her interest in treating and helping to manage sports related injuries like ankle sprains, hamstring strains and rotator cuff injuries. She can also be found out and about climbing a mountain from time to time and has extensive knowledge on the ergonomics of hiking.
Kaitlin has a passion for pursuing study and areas that she continues to train in include breathing dysfunctions, pregnancy related pain and paediatrics. Overall her approach to neuro-musculoskeletal health care aligns with the osteopathic philosophy of restoring the body to it’s homeostatic equilibrium. She aims to do this by implementing the latest researched methods.
If you have any questions about how Kaitlin may be able to help you be free of pain or move better, don’t be shy and get in contact via e-mail or follow her on Facebook at (Kaitlin Newman Osteopath).

Dr Natalie Rutsche (Osteopath)
Natalie has been a Registered Osteopath since 1999. Her main area of interest is in treating 50+ year olds to maintain the physicality they would like. Often as we age, aches and pains and limitations to mobility are passed off as a normal part of ageing. Sometimes this is the case, but most of the time improvements can be gained, enabling a far better quality of life with greater freedom of movement and substantially less pain.
Improving movement and limiting pain can make the body feel years younger.
Over the past two decades of treating, Natalie has found a particular interest in treating gastrointestinal pain and has spent additional time studying this area of practice. She has also recently come back from additional studies in America focusing on the treatment of head and face trauma.
Outside of the practice, Natalie is one of the inaugural Osteopathy Board of Australia members appointed by Ministerial Council to oversee Registration, Notification and Accreditation of the Osteopathy Profession.
Whenever possible, Natalie also likes to engage in as many physical sports as possible in as many different countries as possible. Snowboarding and running are her pursuits at the moment, additionally she is a keen rock climber, (former) national level gymnast, state level high jumper and sprinter. Coaching gymnastics for many years set up a unique perspective when looking at maximising movement and understanding balance.
Natalie works from Indooroopilly on Tuesday afternoons.
